Oppenheimer— Home Entertainment Release

One of the biggest movies of the year deserved one of the best Blu-ray releases as well, and in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, we launched a publicity campaign to celebrate the film in this next format.

Christopher Nolan (Writer/Director), Emma Thomas (Producer), Ludwig Göransson (Composer), Ellen Mirojnick (Costume Designer), Jennifer Lame (Editor), Ruth de Jong (Production Designer), Richard King (Sound Designer/ Supervising Sound Editor), Jaime Leigh McIntosh (Hair), Luisa Abel (Makeup & Prosthetics), Andrew Jackson (VFX Supervisor) and Scott Fisher (Special Effects Supervisor) completed 98 broadcast, print and online interviews across home entertainment and awards press.

Following the junket, Nolan and the crafts team attended the World Premiere of “The Making Of Oppenheimer: The Story of Our Time.”  With over 300 in attendance, the audience was a mix of entertainment media and awards press/pundits as well as voting guild members to which Christopher Nolan delivered an introduction focusing on the importance of ownership and the value of home entertainment.  The halo effect from his introduction garnered an additional 30 editorial domestic breaks with a potential reach of 2.3B.

Reports of 4K Blu-rays selling out all over the country rounded out the campaign with a bang!
